DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- The ABC11 I-Team is staying on top of the investigation into a Durham foundation accused of not paying its employees.
The president of CJF America was back in a Durham courtroom on Monday on a worthless check charge filed against her.
Kristen Picot did not say anything during the hearing.
Her attorney asked for the case to be continued because the North Carolina Department of Labor investigation into CJF is underway.
The judge granted that continuance.
Since July, the I-Team has been investigating CJF and has heard from more than a dozen workers who said they didn't get paid.
Picot previously told ABC11 Troubleshooter Diane Wilson that employees would get paid, but so far, ABC11 has only heard from one employee, who said he got a partial payment.

After Monday's hearing, the Troubleshooter asked Picot whether the plan was still to pay employees, but she did not answer, and her attorney said only, "No comment."
In a previous interview, her attorney said Picot was "innocent until proven guilty."
Her next court date is in January.
The founder of CJF, Courtney Jordan, and its CFO are also facing criminal charges of felony conspiracy and obtaining property under false pretense.
Those warrants remain unserved.
The I-Team has tried to get a response from CJF for more than two months, but no one has responded.
