DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- A court hearing was held Monday for a former Duke University Hospital nurse who is facing new charges.
Jomil Tugado, 39, is accused of sexually assaulting a third patient. Court documents show two of the incidents took place in May -- while the other happened earlier this month.
Tugado is facing a long list of charges, including sexual battery.
His nursing license has been suspended. In court on Monday, he admitted that he was not a U.S. citizen.
He was placed on administrative leave at the hospital on Dec. 7, and ABC11 learned Monday that Duke had terminated his employment.
Tugado was ordered to be held without bond pending his next court appearance in January.
