GREENVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement has charged three employees of Main & Mill Oyster Bar and Tavern after an investigation into a January crash that killed one underage driver and injured another.

Agents began investigating after the Jan. 19 Greenville collision and later learned the teens had attended a private event at the Winterville restaurant the night before. ALE said surveillance video showed both underage individuals drinking alcohol at the business before leaving.

Agents obtained warrants for owner Davie Francisco Munoz, 38; manager Maria Elena Munoz, 25; and employee James Daniel West, 25. All are charged with providing alcohol to someone under 21. The Munozes also face charges of failing to superintend the business and allowing unlawful activity; West faces one count of allowing unlawful conduct.

ALE will forward its findings to the N.C. Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission, which will decide whether to impose administrative penalties.
