The stars and director talked to over 2,000 fans about the upcoming project, and gave a special preview of the film.

MEXICO CITY -- Your favorite bounty-hunting duo was just spotted in the heart of Mexico!
Pedro Pascal, Grogu, and director/co-writer/producer Jon Favreau made an appearance at the annual CCXP convention yesterday to give over 2,000 fans a sneak peak of "Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu."
After a sizzle highlighting previous titles in the "Star Wars" galaxy, and a stunt including Stormtroopers and a light show, the movie's stars and director took to the stage.
"It's the movie that I saw when I was a kid," Pascal said to the crowd in Spanish. "And it's the thing that really raised me. To be a part of that is a dream."
Tickets are on sale now for "Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu," starring Pascal, Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen White. The film opens in theaters May 22.
