New timeline set for Raleigh's tallest residential tower

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- A new timeline is set for the construction of what will become Raleigh's tallest residential building.

Preparations have begun on the historic Pine State Creamery Building on Glenwood Avenue.

The developers, Turnbridge Equities, tell ABC11 construction will begin in September.

The $200 million project is expected to wrap up in 2028.

It will have retail space and more than 300 apartments.

An official groundbreaking is set for this fall.
