Popular Fayetteville restaurant Vick's Drive-In closing

FAYETTEVILLE -- For the last 57 years people have rolled up to Vick's Drive-In on Rowan Street in Fayetteville for their southern favorites.

But now the soul food hot spot is serving its final meals.

Come Wednesday at 9 p.m., the cooks will hang up their aprons and the doors will lock for good.

Fayetteville restaurant Vick's Drive In says 2014 will be its last year in operation. In an announcement, the eatery said it will close its doors December 31.
