Pullen Park train getting an upgrade as Raleigh auctions old locomotive

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- The City of Raleigh is putting the Pullen Park train up for auction, but don't worry about the popular attraction closing.

City council approved the 2015 propane locomotive to be sold not the entire train.

The locomotive will be replaced with a new electric train.

The online auction is set for March 30 beginning at 8 a.m.
