
RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Two Triangle-area residents were among three winners who split a $1.041 million Cash 5 jackpot.
Wardell Void, of Raleigh, bought his $1 ticket for Thursday's drawing from Best Buy Grocery on Old Stage Road in Raleigh.
Priscilla Allen of Smithfield also bought a $1 Cash 5 ticket and matched all five balls.
She purchased her winning ticket at a 365 Store on East Anderson Street in Selma.

The third winning ticket was bought at a Sheetz on Portertown Road in Greenville.
The three winners each won $347,251.
Void and Allen both claimed their prizes on Friday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh, and, after required federal and state tax withholdings, each took home $249,149.
Allen said she planned to pay off her mortgage with her winnings.
The odds of matching all five balls are 1 in 962,598.
