Man charged in connection with triple shooting in Clinton

Police investigating after three people shot in Clinton

CLINTON, N.C. (WTVD) -- A suspect has been arrested in connection with a triple shooting, Clinton Police said Tuesday night.

Three people were shot at the Eastover Terrace apartment complex on Monday afternoon.

On Tuesday, detectives, assisted by the Sampson County Sheriff's Office SERT Team, executed a search warrant in the 600 block of Eastover Terrace and took Ricardo Ramsey, of Wallace, into custody.

Ramsey was charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury, six counts of discharging a weapon into occupied property, and discharging a firearm within city limits.

Ramsey is being held at the Sampson County Detention Center under no bond.
