
DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- A lockdown was lifted at Riverside High School after a search for a weapon on Monday afternoon.
The lockdown was implemented after an anonymous tip about a firearm on campus.

Law enforcement officers conducted a search at the school but did not find a weapon, a Durham Public Schools spokesperson said.
School dismissal was scheduled for 4:15 but was delayed to nearly 5 p.m.
