Tropical Storm Jerry expected to become hurricane; no impact to US

Tropical Storm Jerry is forecast to become a category one hurricane in the coming days.

The system is expected to change from a tropical storm to a hurricane around Wednesday night.

Jerry is forecast to pass near of just north of the northern Leeward Islands Thursday night and Friday.

There is no impact to the United States.

Tropical storm watches could be required later today or tonight.
