Woman charged with murder after man found dead in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- A woman has been charged in connection with a Raleigh homicide.

On Saturday, Raleigh police officers responded to a call regarding a dead person on Bassett Trail at 11:09 a.m. They discovered the body of Arthur Upchurch, 72.

Sandra Hunter, 66, was arrested and charged with his murder.

The case remains active and under investigation.
