Two suspects arrested after armed robbery in Raeford
RAEFORD, N.C. (WTVD) -- Two suspects have been arrested after an armed robbery at a Raeford business on Sunday.
The Hoke County Sheriff's Office responded to call at Muncheez Express along Fayetteville Road around 1:40 p.m.
Deputies said two men entered the business with a handgun and stole money and cigarettes before leaving in a dark colored Nissan Maxima driven by a female.
One of the men was Rodney Jones and the female was Michelle Knight, according to authorities.
They were stopped by Fayetteville police as they tried to return to their residence soon after the robbery.
Both were taken to the Hoke County Detention Center and bonded out.
