Fire destroys Raleigh home

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Authorities in Raleigh are investigating the cause of an early morning that destroyed a home.

Just after midnight Wednesday, flames were seen shooting out of the home in the 4000 block of Wingate Drive, off Hardimont Road.

According to authorities, the two-story home was vacant.

It is unclear at this time what caused the blaze.
