2 shooting victims rushed to hospital in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Durham police are investigating a double shooting that happened Wednesday on Emerson Place.

Police said one victim was shot in the back and the other was shot in the chest.

According to Durham police, a Good Samaritan tried to rush the victims to the hospital. Officers stopped the vehicle on Alston Avenue and Crowell Street and took over.

Both victims are in critical condition at Duke Hospital.

Police didn't release any information on possible suspects.
