Man in hospital after shooting in Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A man is in the hospital after being shot in Raleigh Friday night.

It happened in the 1200 block of South East Street.

Police said the victim had been taken to WakeMed hospital by the time they arrived.

Joshua Lee Locus, 27, suffered a gunshot wound to the left leg. His injury is not considered life threatening, according to authorities.

Raleigh police are investigating.
