HOPE MILLS, N.C. (WTVD) -- Authorities in Hope Mills Wednesday ended up arresting both the suspect in a stabbing incident, and the victim.
Just after 5:30 p.m., police were called to the Traemoor Village Shopping Center on Rockfish Road after someone reported an altercation between two men.
When officers arrived, they learned 21-year-old Brandon Sawyer had been stabbed during a fight with 20-year-old Alexander Thomas, both of Fayetteville.
Authorities arrested Thomas and charged him with assault with a deadly weapon and Sawyer on assault charges.
It was unclear what the two men were arguing about.
