Man seriously injured in Durham shooting, police say
Police said the suspect and victim know each other.
DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- A man was seriously injured in a shooting Friday afternoon in Durham, according to police.
Officers responded around 4:24 p.m. to the 400 block of Formosa Avenue, where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
Police said the preliminary investigation indicates the suspect and victim know each other. Investigators do not believe there is an active threat to the community at this time.
The shooting remains under investigation, and no additional details have been released.
