Man and woman killed in apparent murder-suicide in Durham

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Two people are dead in an apparent murder-suicide at an apartment complex in Durham.

Police found 36-year-old Maurice Langston and 27-year-old Shakeva Dixon just after 10 p.m. last night on Crest Street, not far from Duke Hospital.

The two have children together and were once in a relationship, according to police.

Officers were still on the scene nearly nine hours later.
