Stray cat sneaks into store, feasts on seafood delicacies

VLADIVOSTOK, Russia -- A stray cat hit the jackpot when it managed to sneak into a seafood store at an airport in eastern Russia.

Many people at the airport took video of the orange tabby cat opening packages and munching on seafood delicacies like squid and octopus, the BBC reports.

After the cat finished stuffing its belly, it took back off.

The managers of the fish counter had to toss everything, costing them approximately $1,000. They say the cat made their store famous, with people stopping by to see the scene of the crime, but they've not seen an increase in business.

"People come directly to us with questions about the cat. But they don't buy anything, they only ask questions," store owner Irina Kuzmina told PrimaMedia.
