Teen drivers entering '100 deadliest days' - Most fatal car crashes involving teen drivers occur during summertime

For teenage drivers, the "100 deadliest days" have begun. Now through Labor Day is the time when most of the fatal car crashes occur.

According to AAA, fatal crashes involving teens are down 56 percent over the past 20 years but an average of 220 teens or their passengers are killed each month.

In the summer, there are 43 percent more crashes than the rest of the year.

Thirty percent of those killed in accidents involving teen drivers are in another car.
