3 killed, including 1 child, in Sampson County wreck

SAMPSON COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Two adults and one child were killed Saturday after a crash in Sampson County.

According to authorities, two vehicles crashed after one of them crossed the center line at the intersection Tew Road and Baptist Chapel Road.

Officials said the drivers of both vehicles, Jason Williams, 32, of Godwin, and Katie Lynne Lee, 21, of Dunn died. The child's name was not released.

Two passengers in Williams' vehicle were also injured and taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. No word on their condition.
