Accident causes backups along I-40 during morning commute

WAKE COUNTY (WTVD) -- An accident along westbound Interstate 40 caused traffic backups during the morning commute Thursday.

The crash blocked the left two lanes at exit 287 for Harrison Avenue in Cary.

Details surrounding the accident - that happened shortly before 7 a.m. - have not been released at this time.
