Emergency crews respond to bad wreck south of Clayton

Two vehicles were involved in a bad wreck Tuesday afternoon south of Clayton.

It happened at Steel Creek Road at Little Creek Church Road.

Chopper 11HD was overhead as crews and investigators worked at the site of the crash. Our crew on the scene said a helicopter landed and took at least one person to the hospital.

There was damage to the front of a minivan, and heavy damage to the side of the other vehicle.

No word yet from officials on the severity of any injuries or the cause of the crash.
