Highway Patrol investigates head-on crash on US-70 in Durham

DURHAM, NC (WTVD) -- The Highway Patrol is investigating a crash Tuesday afternoon on US-70 near University Station Road in Durham.

An ABC11 crew at the scene said there were "possible injuries" in a head-on crash between two passenger vehicles.

Emergency responders were working the scene throughout the afternoon. At least one person was placed on a stretcher.

It wasn't immediately known how many people were involved in the crash.

No other details were immediately available.
