Teen dead after shooting in Henderson

HENDERSON, N.C. (WTVD) -- A teenager is dead after a shooting in Henderson Monday morning.

Police responded to a call around 11:25 a.m. at Gate City Foods in the 600 block of West Andrews Avenue.

When they arrived, they say they found Tre'shon Cheek, 18, of Henderson suffering from a gunshot wound. He died as a result of his injuries.
