UPDATE: All lanes of I-95 South reopen near following crash in Johnston County

JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- All lanes of I-95 South near Benson at Exit 81 have reopened following an earlier crash in Johnston County, according to the NCDOT.

However, six miles of congestion remains in the area.

As of 3 p.m. on Wednesday, the crash caused a five-mile traffic backup.

Motorists are encouraged to plan their travel accordingly as well as drive safely and obey all posted speed limits.
