Victim in Myrtle Beach parasailing accident suffered double leg amputation

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- A man suffered a double leg amputation after a parasailing accident in Myrtle Beach on Tuesday, according to Lt. Evans with Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue.



Officials with the U.S. Coast Guard said the incident happened when the man was moving from a parasailing vessel to a banana boat. The man fell into the water and was hit by the propellers from the boat, he said.
