Female mechanic teaches girl scout troop basic car maintenance

Wayne, Pa -- Ashley D'Avico is the owner of D'Avico's Auto Repair and a mentee to a group of girls looking to learn about the automotive world.

Ashley is an experienced mechanic in a traditionally male-dominated field.

She recently took the time to teach Radnor girl scout troop 284 basic car maintenance and help them earn their merit badge.
