Raleigh police officer injured in I-440 crash

RALEIGH, N.C. -- A Raleigh police officer is recovering in a hospital room this morning after being rear-ended on I-440.

The crash happened in the eastbound lanes of the beltline between Glenwood Avenue and Six Forks Road.

The officer is expected to be okay.

All lanes have reopened on I-440.
