Wake County school bus involved in 4-vehicle accident

WAKE COUNTY (WTVD) -- A Wake County school bus was involved in an accident with three other vehicles in Wake Forest Wednesday morning.

It happened around 7 a.m. at the intersection of Durham Road and Thompson Mill Rd.

Officials said students aboard the bus and the bus driver were not injured in the accident. Passengers in the other vehicles were also not injured.

It was unclear what caused the collision.

Police are directing traffic around the area. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and choose an alternate route.
