Family has no place to sleep after Wake Forest fire

WAKE FOREST, N.C. (WTVD) -- A family has no place to sleep after a quick-moving fire tore through a large home in Wake Forest Friday evening.

It happened around 9:10 p.m. at a home on Moresham Way.

Video from the scene showed dozens of firefighters working to battle the flames.

At least seven fire departments were called to the home.

The family of six that lived in the home were at church at the time of the fire.

No one was injured, but we have learned the family cat died in the fire.

The home was a total loss.
