Huge waterspout spins off Outer Banks

NAGS HEAD, Outer Banks (WTVD) -- Some tourists on North Carolina's Outer Banks got a show from Mother Nature.

From their rental house, they spotted a massive water spout.

Shannon Arkwright used her cell phone to capture the menacing storm churning near Nags Head.

At first, they thought it was a tornado and wondered if they should run for cover, but in less than a minute the storm was gone and the sun returned.
