Suspect tosses stolen puppy out window

A Goldsboro man is charged with throwing a puppy from a two-story window.According to the Goldsboro Police Department, 19-year-old Jermel Jamison threw the puppy from the window of his home while investigators were trying to get into his home.

They were there investigating a report of stolen puppies.

Jamison is charged with the theft of nine pit bull puppies that were reported stolen on December 2. Investigators were able find the puppy after it was thrown out of the window.

The dog is valued at $200.

Jamison is charged with possession of a stolen dog, animal cruelty and marijuana possession.

He is at the Wayne County Detention Center under a $4,000.00 secured bond.
