FAYETTEVILLE The incident started around 11 p.m. on Friday with a shoot-out at a home on Fort Bragg. It ended near the Quick 'N' Go convenience store on Murchison Road.
Detectives found 23-year-old Terence Daniel Small dead in a parked car along Shaw Mill and Murchison Roads. Investigators say he apparently died from a gunshot wound.
Another man, 28-year-old Michael Leonard Woodard, Jr. was also injured from gunfire. He was taken by ambulance to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Details of Woodard's injuries have not been released.
Authorities believe 26-year-old Kevin Hutchison is responsible for the shooting. He is currently facing first degree murder charges.
Deputies are still investigating the case.
