Witnesses to the accident told troopers that Mayr was not speeding and he was in control of the car, when he suddenly lost control, left the road, came back on, left the road once more, and then flipped over into a ditch onto a service road.
No cause for the accident has been determined, but troopers say speed, alcohol and weather were not factors. Mayr was wearing his seatbelt.
No one else was injured. The accident is still under investigation.
