Police investigating woman's death

RALEIGH Raleigh Police Department Public Information Officer Jim Sughrue says shortly after 6 a.m. on Friday police received a called about a body found at 113 Dickens Dr.

Authorities identified the body as 44-year-old Rebecca Ezeoha Thompkins.

A Task Force is investigating the incident, because police say some of the circumstances of her death appear to be potentially suspicious.

Since there is a possibility of suspicious circumstances, authorities are urging anyone who might have relevant information about the case to contact the RPD's Detective Division at (919) 996-3555.
