Police say Bauman hit a pedestrian with his vehicle and then left the scene. A woman, who has not been identified, was seriously injured.
There is no word on the woman's condition.

RALEIGH Officers charged 27-year-old Brian Bauman of Raleigh Saturday after he allegedly left the scene of an accident on Plainview Avenue near Vale Street.
