Traffic signals are out on Capital Blvd. at Yonkers Rd. due to an overnight crash. According to police, a drunken driver ran into a power box that controls stoplights in the area. The area is highly traveled by morning commuters heading into downtown Raleigh.

The driver of a two-door Nissan ran off of Capital Blvd. around 12:30 a.m. and ended up in Crabtree Creek. No one was injured, but police arrested the driver at the scene.

The City of Raleigh says the traffic signal could be down until lunch time today.
