Chief Justice Roberts speaks at NCCU

DURHAM He visited the North Carolina Central law school to preside over a moot court competition. The event is closed to the public and the media.

Roberts was on a panel with 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Allyson Duncan, a former N.C. Central law professor, and former North Carolina Chief Justice Henry Frye.

Roberts' visit was the first time a U.S. chief justice has visited the 70-year-old law school.

The Chief Justice also ate with law students and conduct a swearing-in ceremony for NCCU law alumni to the U.S. Supreme Court Bar.
