Police seeking burglary accomplice

Police are searching for an accomplice in a burglary that happened in Hope Mills.Cumberland County Sheriff's Detectives say the burglary happened in Hope Mills on March 20 or 21.

Investigators have arrested one man, 42-year-old Eddie Thompson, who allegedly robbed his girlfriend of money, electronics and jewelry.

Thompson has refused to reveal the identity of his accomplice and deputies are currently searching for him.

Detectives say Thompson and the unknown suspect broke into a home on the 4500 block of Ferrand Drive through a back window. The victim was not home at the time of the break-in.

Thompson's accomplice is described as a white man between the age of 17 to 19. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, blue jeans and a dark colored jacket.
