The victim told authorities a naked man approached her, pulled her close to him and made improper statements to her.
She said she broke free but the suspect followed her for a while before she was able to call authorities.
A deputy located the suspect and took him and the victim to the magistrate.
Hardin is charged with indecent exposure, assault on a female and sexual battery. He is being held under a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Chatham County District Court on June 10.
