After hitting the cruiser, police say the suspect jumped out of the vehicle he was driving and ran away.
No one was injured.
Police did not provide a description of the man.

DURHAM The suspect is accused of stealing a car and then leading police on a chase Thursday. The pursuit ended on Rainbow Way off of Highway 15-501.
