Boil water advisory for Edgecombe

EDGECOMBE COUNTY Environmental health officials said they found higher than normal levels of Coliform bacteria in recent samples.

Customers who get their water from the Edgecombe County water and sewer districts should boil their water for at least a minute before drinking or cooking with it.

Officials said Tuesday that all the samples that were tested have come back negative for Coliform. So officials lifted the notice.
