Swine flu stricken man dies

TRANSYLVANIA COUNTY An Asheville newspaper reported that the man went to the hospital with pneumonia and flu-like symptoms. But health officials said they needed more test results to determine if the flu caused his death.

It's the first swine flu-related death in a western North Carolina.

So far there have been five fatal cases of swine flu statewide.
