Funding issues have forced the school district to push back the construction time table. Now, the new schools will be built during the next four years.
Forest Ridge High, Rolesville Middle and Walnut Creek Elementary will now open two years later.
Students who were supposed to move will stay at their current schools until the new buildings are ready.
