The pilot of the single engine Lake Buccaneer reported that the nose landing gear collapsed as the plane touched down.
The pilot wasn't hurt.
Mechanics at the airport were able to get the wheel down so the plane could be towed to a hanger for more inspection.
The Buccaneer is an amphibian aircraft that can take off and land on either a paved runway or water. It has a single "pusher" propeller mounted on top of the air frame behind the cockpit.
