Man arrested for Raleigh woman's murder

RALEIGH Flavio Velasquez Cardenas is charged with the murder of Patsy Barefoot. Barefoot was found dead in her apartment on Wake Forest Road in June.

Police found Barefoot's missing car Sunday in Miami.

A Raleigh police detective flew to Florida Monday to assist Miami police with the investigation. They arrested Cardenas just before midnight Tuesday in Coral Gables, Fla.
