Boy killed on skateboard

CARY Cary police said the accident happened around 3:30 p.m. when Ravindra Kalipershad skated out his driveway on Council Gap Ct. and collided with a Toyota Highlander.

The driver of the SUV, 48-year-old Lauren Miller, lived on the same street as the boy.

Police said she stayed at the scene and fully cooperated with officers.

No charges have been filed in the incident.
