Dan Aykroyd promotes vodka in NC

Actor Dan Aykroyd is making two stops in NC to promote his vodka project.He will be in Raleigh Tuesday and at Fort Bragg Wednesday to promote Crystal Head Vodka. The 57-year-old is a partner and investor in the liquor, which comes in a skull-shaped bottle.

In Raleigh, he will sign bottles of the vodka at the ABC store across from Triangle Town Center at 1:30 p.m. and 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the north Post Exchange on Fort Bragg.

The vodka is quadruple-distilled in Newfoundland in Canada.

Aykroyd also has his own winery and is the Canadian importer and co-distributor of Patron tequila.

Aykroyd is best known for his roles on "Saturday Night Live" and in the "Blues Brothers" movies. He was nominated for an Academy Award for his role in "Driving Miss Daisy" and starred in the "Ghostbusters" movies.
